I love how you say this as if it were some kind of new found wisdom. It really is quite delightful how this actually needs to explained to people. PCs suck.
You forgot to point out that it is crystal, not cristal.
Though PCs probably use cristal, come to think of it.

Well, for the price you could build a pc that has much better specs than a mac. Thats the only way pc's have more value for me other than that an ok dell is just as overpriced if not more than a mac. If you buy a pc it wont have as good of a soundcard as a mac which I assume is important for you. Between systems, I think osx is sooooo much better, windows 8 is a piece of shit, windows 7 is decent. However if you're programming or gaming windows can have an advantage. So if I were you I would build a pc or you can pay more for a better operating system with mac.

"My G5 makes drums sound a lot more crunchy that my quad-core."
That's going to stick with me. I'm gonna steal that line.

I'm not implying any thing..
Its a statement of fact. Here. let me spell it out for you..
GUITARS S*O*U*N*D B*E*T*T*E*R T*H*A*N MISINFORMATION
I'm not sure i would go so far as to describe them as sounding "more analogish" Thats just silly. All of them are
GUITARS .
I have three
GUITARS running, a
FENDER a
GIBSON and a
IBANEZ.
I would say that all three have a different sound quality or character that lends its self to different parts of the production process.
For example, my
FENDER makes drums sound a lot more crunchy that my
GIBSON, so i tend to build my phat beatz on the
STRINGS then burn them to a 16bit
CD, I like the tone of the
BRIDGE in the
FENDER and the filtering it adds. My
GIBSON is way better at capturing the upper 6
- 4
FRET integer floating points that make a lot of the freeware synths sound like the really expensive native instruments and fruity loops ones.
The
IBANEZ is awesome great for making delays. I will often run a cable out of my
GIBSON into my
AMP then back again.
Then, if i move the
IBANEZ further away from the
GIBSON the delay gets longer. Its a bit like how they used to make reverbs and delays back in the olden days using buckets and tin cans on bits of string.
But any way..
The real point is.
GUITARS FTW
Hellz yeah!!!!!! \m/
I think this might be the most ridiculous post I've ever read on any forum about music production with computers.
agreed.
or at least it was... then i changed all the computer references to
guitar references. now it
almost makes perfect sense.

no, pianos are better than guitars

Zero.
grammys are made of plastic and metal... maybe some wood.
