Totally foreseeable. Surely you knew from the fact that this has happened repeatedly in the past that your servers were going to taken a hammering today. How about planning for that and putting some capacity in in advance?

Yes; and somewhere out there is a company that will punch me in the face and have sex with my dog when I make payment.

That will not detract in any way from Ableton's failings, in taking my money off me whilst failing to register this has happened.

I'd say they have been planning this little heist for months if not years. Their whole purpose here has been to rip you off so job well done Ableton

if it were me i would set up an exclusive invite for current suite owners, then live owners e.t.c and stagger the purchase and download. there has to be some sense of professionalism, responsiveness and ethics when they announce Live 9 will be available on March 5. Unless there is a fine print some where that reads

Available on March 5 ,

but probably may not be downloadable for a while until we get our act together!

Don't bother trying to download it at the moment, as you can't authorize it anyway. Their authorization system has been offline all day so far.

I managed to download Live 9 standard Client + packs this morning, but haven't been able to authorize it so far. It's still Down. :(

No surprise here.
Live 9 has been a loooonng time coming
It's a huge download for suite.
It's only been available for a few hours.
and .....the servers have crashed.
This was always going to happen
why all the outrage?
I'm leaving it until the weekend
Should be sorted by then.
