Unless there is a fine print some where that reads

Available on March 5 ,

but probably may not be downloadable for a while until we get our act together!
They should have advertised "To be sold on March 5, delivery times may vary."

LOL

I don't know what I find more frustrating and irritating - the fact that I can't access my download link, or all the moaning and whining from others who can't access theirs!

I guess I should have foreseen this and held back for a while. Anyone with any sense would know that on Day 1 of the new release the site would be swamped. And I walked right into it

Anyway, thus I learn my lesson. I will go back home tonight and try just to enjoy making music on the software that I have.

.... while checking my email constantly for feedback from the Ableton team :?

For an extra fifty bucks I sprang for the box. There's no way that DSL can handle a download that size. Besides, the stickers are way cool.

Seems to be working better now, was able to grab Live 9, Max, and the Packs I wanted in about 10 minutes.

Hmmm ... I wonder if there's a business that could be built around providing temporary additional capacity for sites that expect to experience a spike in user activity (like a new software release, for instance.)

Been up now for most of the day... Ableton diverted more resources to the website but they should have known that it was going to happen with the interest.

Have to say 'good on them' as I ordered the box and already shipped. Should get maybe Monday.

How the hell do I choose Paypal as payment method? I have no option but credit card... Do I seriously have to go into the next room to find my card?
