2 things with Live 9 Max4Live 6.1

Post by amnesia56 » Thu Mar 07, 2013 1:39 am

Hi

Like most of you I have bought the update to Live 9 and Max4Live 6.1

I have a Godis.maxpat file and it says to drop audio and I can see the FX working but cant hear audio. Am I suppose to patch in the Godis patch into the Max4Live (Live 9)?

Also sometimes it crashes and I try and open Max4Live 6.1 and it says it has expired ) see image)

I am confused.

Any help greatly appreciated :-) see image. Tried to upload the image here but no go.

.maxpat files are standalone patches made with Max. You will have to copy the contents of the .maxpat file into a default M4L device and then make the necessary adjustments for the contents to run in Live.

The reason it says Max is expired when you try to open the patch directly with is because you don't have a Max standalone license and Max is opening in demo mode. You have a M4L license which means all editing you do on Max patches must be done through launching the Edit button on a M4L device from within Live.
