What the F*CK!!!
Re: What the F*CK!!!
Is it the sound of geese farting while in the water or on land ?
I would like to hear the fart in water. I like wet sounds.

Re: What the F*CK!!!
I've been using the 9 Beta for a while, and one thing that I've noticed is this: loading a large sample library can take a surprisingly long time, and if you try to play while the samples are still loading, you will get some very strange results! I've had it happen while loading both the Orchestral Strings and the Orchestral Brass libraries - some notes will sound fine, but others (presumably those which use samples that haven't loaded yet) will either not sound, or will play but cut the note off after the attack. I presume that Ableton needs to buffer those big libraries - in fact, there is a progress bar that shows up in the bottom status field, but it doesn't last very long, so it's easy to miss.
Anyhow, my guess is that's what you ran into - trying to play notes before the samples were loaded, or, to use the technical term, premature articulation.

i am no goosologist but i have goosed a girlfriend or two which i will imply allows me to ramble mindlessly regarding the subject... i say a mixed choir would most definitely represent a more global gaggle and lead to less chance of getting under your skein.

Maybe a corrupt Live pack. Did you download again and reinstall?wildcon wrote:Hi There,
Right I've loaded several instances of Collision instruments in a new track and all seems fine.
So - I'm guessing it must be some sort of memory build up or something!??
This is what pissed me about Live 8 - You just never knew when it was going to freak on you. I've used exactly the same set-ups with third party VST's on Logic projects with any issue whatsoever.
I have to point out that I was a total fanboy who is becoming more and more arsed off with Live.
Right lets see if I can get some more Geese Farts Going

I am not happy
Trombones always sound like that and marimba's never record/playback like marimbas
If you want to hear what insanity sounds like, run a classical flamenco guitar
recording through the convert audio to midi function and play it back with Cyclop

Probably easier to record its farts.
