I was excited to see Live 9 include a grand piano pack, as previously I've been loading the glacially slow Native Instruments Alicia's Keys for decent piano sounds. I like the sound of Grand Piano more than the Sampler grand pianos from Live 8, but it starts glitching and dropping notes out after playing for a few seconds + using a fair amount of polyphony.
I'm running a brand new pentium i7 mac mini with 16gb of ram + mountain lion. Not having these issues with any other Live packs.

i noticed this aswell with the Grand piano stretch mellow production.
still wondering why ableton stored that in a 300+MB big AIFF file? :O it makes no sense at all why not slice that up and load the bits in a smapler like with teh previous versions of the grand pianos.
and went back to alicia keys and my old grand piano preset from v8.
