hi. the setup i use is eurorack modular and a daw. i run midi out from the daw through my fast track pro into my pittsburgh midi (the first version). i run audio from my pittsburgh outs into my fast track pro and then into ableton. to figure out my track delay i just record, measure and adjust.

words cannnot describe the joy this combination brings me.

Thanks guys for the responses, is really helpful! Seems as if Modular is becoming very popular as of late. :)

Nice. So you must have a PM Foundation system?

no, i don't have the foundation. just a few pittsburgh modules. i don't have a decent photo of my system or i would post it. i've got a bunch of pb and doepfer, some livewire, malekko, intellijel and some elby designs kits that i put together.

"My studio now is essentially just a Mac Book Pro, Mackie monitors, a few USB controllers and a Doepfer a-100p6 rack full of fun stuff."

:-) That interview is old. I did retail therapy one day and bought a Moog Voyager too. CV in!

hi, i'm a modular and ableton user. I also recommend expert sleepers silent way for cv. amazing plugins and you don't need to get a module to use it, just need an audio interface that is DC coupled and some floating ring cables or stereo split/insert y cables. i have some videos on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/leisuremuffin

absolutely love that ableton/silent way lets me do perfectly synced overdubs and silent way allows for excellent pitch tracking with its calibration feature.
