After a very long and very annoying
night of working with Live 9,
I request a checkbox in Preferences,
where you can choose whether or not
you'd like Live to Crash every fucking 3-4 Minutes.
Preferences: The most important Checkbox is missing!
Re: Preferences: The most important Checkbox is missing!
it´s an easteregg which can be found in live. attention, it´s moving every minute and only a few people found it ^^
had a crash two days ago whjle i recorded a midi clip. while im recording i wanted to deactivate the recording button from this track and i got a system handler exception as always in the beta. they should integrate a mechanism to protect live from crashing like bitwig studio. should i use live for live situations? i don´t now because if live crashes on simple BASIC functions it´s useless and my trust get lower and lower.

Re: Preferences: The most important Checkbox is missing!
...speaking of basic functions:
right now, it mostly crashes when i add, or delete plugins.
and they aren't even any 3rd party plug ins.
CPU use is completely unpredictable / unstable
Playback of one single clip sometimes uses 22%
sometimes above 80% and stays there.
next time you hit play, it uses 40%. really Random!
Sometimes, the browser stops working.
for no reason every folder is suddenly empty.
one crash later, everything is back to normal.
this time it's playing that one clip at 75% CPU.
is this a feature?
to make things a bit more challenging for bored producers?
or for even more excitement on stage?

Re: Preferences: The most important Checkbox is missing!
i mentioned this unstable cpu usage, too. from 20 to 30 maybe 35 and back. but it never crashed when is use plugins or delete them and so on. I use win 7 64 bit.
Tested VST:
Massive
AAlto
Kore Player
GuitarRig
Kontakt
Bazille
thats the ones i can remember right now. But no crash caused by them.
