Pad Sensitivity and User Mode - Inaccessible

Post by 0xFFF » Fri Apr 05, 2013 9:11 pm

I'm trying to set the pad sensitivity, but when I hold the user mode button down, nothing happens on the LCD. When I finally let it go, the entire board just goes black. I can click it again to go back into regular mode, but there seems to be no way to actually get to the pad sensitivity settings.

I'm on OSX.

Thoughts?

It has to be connected to live for the screen to come up for some reason.

Is that your problem?

Thanks for your reply. No, live is running.

I can play instruments, and most things seem to be working. Yet, I have noticed that not everything works in the same way as is demonstrated in the learning videos. For example, the presenter demonstrates leaving the browse mode by hitting browse again (which takes you back to the device mode). In practice, I've found hitting browse to leave browse is not possible, but hitting device mode is the solution. Furthermore, the presenter demonstrates changing the metronome audio level by holding Metronome and turning the master dial. In practice, I'e learned holding shift and turning the master dial is the solution for the metronome audio level.

Obviously, there are some differences in the actual product. I'm guessing it has something to do with a unique build for the mac client.

If anyone else has suggestions for changing the pad pressure, let me know. My fingertips are going to start developing calluses from wailing on this grid.

That was the problem... I was on 9.0. I didn't know there was an update already!

It is now working. Thank you!
