I haven't gotten quite that far yet. I've had Push 2 days but because of work I haven't spent any "quality" time yet. Tomorrow I'll dive into that and report back.
Heh! Quality time... Yes, I know what you mean! Life gets in the way, especially with work, family & everything inbetween! Have fun, looking forward to hearing more! (I'm looking forward to giving feedback of my own, when I finally get one!)

:D

You're both gods amongst men! Thanks for the link! This is going to be indispensable right now since I'm only demoing Suite and I'll be down to Intro in a month. Already getting some nice natural tones out of this synth. Fractal resonance??? Talk about warmth...

The first and third one are beautiful. They remind me of some of Aphex Twin's nicer sounds. Very natural and nuanced sounds. Why some people have no respect for synthesized sounds is way beyond me. Very few guitarists build their guitar before they write you a song with it. Sheesh...

I really like the first one too. I'm looking forward to the full release as it's suppose to add more functionality and effects.

artpunk wrote:+1 for Aalto! Upright - have you been using it with Push? How is it for assigning parameters and so-forth? Damn, I can't wait to get Push!

Ok finally played with assigned parameters-

All you have to do is simply click the 'configure' button on Aalto in Ableton and the parameter automatically shows up in Push. It's that simple you don't have to midi map at all.

I feel like browsing directly to your own material is one big issue with Push at the moment. For now I'm going to keep using Maschine to browse for sounds and kits, then just sequence them via a drumrack on Push.

I like both controllers for different reasons. I sold my Maschine to get a Push and then really missed the Maschine so I sold one of my guitars so I could get another Maschine and was able to get K9U updated at the same time.

Two great devices - two different feels - two different uses (and there's overlap too.)

So I have two great devices and some great software even though my wife says I'm a terrible musician.

the problem with Maschine is that glitch that causes it to delete some of your tracks and the way it adds that little buzz at about 10,000 KHz
