Ableton won't play SOME of the clips in session view

After saving a project and then opening it I play the first scene, but Ableton only plays some of the clips (mostly frozen ones and a few others) But leaves many of the clips unplayed (sylenth kontakt truepianos. etc.).

Somehow the midi file doesn't trigger the vst. (I can't even play anything on that channel). I found that a temporary solution is to just copy the channel and it starts working normally. This is very annoying and time consuming, if I have 10 channels that aren't playing anything and I have to copy each one and delete the original one.

Anyone experiencing the same problem? Care to share a solution to this?

Are you using version 9.0.3?

No i'm using the very first version. (9.00 i think?)

Any idea what the source of the problem could be?

Can you double check under Help to see what version it is? 9.0.3 has an issue where it turns off the VSTi/AU plugins and you have to turn them off/back on in order to get sound back out of them. That's why it was pulled (it also fixed rewire issue and sped up indexer but who knows when it'll be resolved and re-released).

So this bug is an ongoing issue? it's damn annoying to say the least.
