Where is this thing? I know there are obviously MASSIVE supply/demand issues with Push; the cover is a fucking piece of aluminum (I believe) though. They should be able to machine these things for $2.50 in an Asian country and produce thousands a day, though, Ableton will likely charge $60 for it.

I hope they DON'T release the one that's been shown in photos. The sides of it are open. What use is that???

Open sides or not it looks like a great solution to protect the knobs. I rather have a controller covered in burning man playa dust than one that got broken knobs........I'd like to see your cover with side that's so much better, I might even buy one.......if it was in fact for sale

I'm pretty sure it would be fairly simple to protect the sides and the knobs with one piece of cheap aluminum. Maybe it's just me. I want everything. It's a problem.

I've been using this and it is by far Great for your studio desk. (Made by Rolodex)
It has multipal degrees of height adjustment and you can sit on it, it don't budge.
With Push mounted on it, the stand is completely hidden. Excellent buy, and very pleased.
You can grab it at Amazon dirt cheap! .. http://www.amazon.com/Rolodex-82410-Lap ... odex+stand

That does look like a reasonable solution for a stand, but I would still like to see a solid cover solution too!

Yes, that,s my next venture. Just using a soft cloth to cover it.
I also keep a bottle of compressed air handy. The pads are another story..

this design would be so boss if it slide over the Push like the other stand, Does it at least kinda work that way when you pack up in your gig bag?

You really wouldn't want to cover up Push with this. Don't forget it wasn't made for push, but on the desktop you would certainly think so because it is truly excellent for that use.
Something else is lurking waiting to be discovered as the cover… :-)

I don't know about alternatives, I am more than pleased with this stand. I like it far better than the one supposedly to be released by Ableton.
This one has multiple height adjustments, the only downfall is that it has no cover, but I'm working on that…
Do a search on laptop stands.

Does that stand provide enough support so you can play it at an angle? Just wondering about wobble and putting pressure on it. That was my main hope for a stand was to make it easier to play seated and have push at an angle so you can better see everything

That's why I love it. "0" wobble, you can pound out beats and hit chords without any movement, it don't budge, truly..
