Ultimate Mixer

Post by kevinkripper » Mon Apr 29, 2013 4:35 pm

Ultimate Mixer is THE floating mixer for Ableton Live...what was missing to complete it! It is built 100% in MaxMSP and it works with both Live 8 and 9 (Max 6).

Mauro,
I use https://sellfy.com/ (which works with paypal accounts) to sell and send the updates. Don't worry about that I'm very responsible with this things.
Great. All ideas are welcome! In fact, you'll see in the ReadMe.txt things I wrote (ideas to add an improvements) for v1.1!
I really hope you like it and make good use of it!

Hi Kevin,
The Peak shown in the Max Mixer were different from the Live's peaks.
Do you recognize that?

'maesojua: I did develop that but I couldn't manage to represent exactly the numbers of Live, for example: in Live, volume box display -3.5 and in Ultimate Mixer -4.3. So, because of that, I decided to not include peak and volume representation in v1.0, but is one of the things I would love to add in future versions! Cheers!'

Guys, I am aware of cpu consuming and it is my top priority for v1.1! I have already started with some improvements so I am working on it! :)

Thanks for the support!

Hey Kevin,

I'm really interested in learning how to route audio from within max for live, I've been trying to find a way for ages and you seem to have pulled it off. Unfortunately I can't open the patch in editor mode, which I assume is some sort of protection which I respect - however would you be able to give me some advice? I have no interest in creating a device that competes with yours - it would be for my Megaset so I can quickly send tracks to other tracks with dummy clips.

Let me know!

@COSM :
I may be wrong, but i don't see why this patch would require routing audio signal to m4l. The peak value can be snapshot~ed or float~ed or whatever so only a value is sent.

have you tried send~ and receive~ ?
i've read somewhere that there are accuracy problems of some sort, but it's worth a try ! i know there is a version of mlr in m4l which routes different groups to different tracks using s~ & r~, for instance.

You'll have unacceptable latency issues routing audio between patches using stilda and tried a I'm afraid....

Cheers
