How about Gangsta Boo from 3 six mafia? She was pretty hard back in the day. Real nasty sex type shit! Girl rappers that talk real nasty like that are sorta sexy in a strange way but also equally repulsive. It's a strange emotion.

it's easy to freestyle rap when half the rhyming words out of your mouth are a brand of liquor, beer, or wine... a drug reference, a gun model/size, or a curse word. there's no skill to that... they're like a crutch... or it's like Mad Libs where you write in the missing noun, adjective, verb etc...

i dunno, i guess having flow is a HUGE part of it too, so i shouldn't discredit anyone that does, but shallow material is not something i will still be having a listen to 16 years later and starting a thread about

Very true!!!! I totally agree. Which is why most rap (including male) completely blows anymore.
I always liked hip hop better. Tribe called quest, Common, Dead Prez etc. But anything popular is mostly shallow nonsense.

Anyway, I guess we just proved it, no one can touch Lauryn Hill !!!
