Have Just purchased Live and would like to load samples into live then loop them and trigger them with a midi pedal and the loops wiil stay playing until
I press that pedal which will turn that loop off and then press another pedal to trigger another loop to turn it on,kind of like having multisamples laid out on the keyboard and being able to pick any note out with the midi pedal and play it only having to touch the pedal once and the sample continue to play.
Thanks

I would suggest you read the manual, from first to last page. You'll get lots of valuable informations.
What you want to do is very easy.
For the clips, in clip properties, you have a "launch mode". One of them allows you to start a clip when midi message is recieved, and stop the clip when the same message is recieved again. If the clip is looped, it will run until the midi message is recieved the second time.
To affect a midi note or pedal to a clip start, hit ctrl M or the MIDI button, top right of live, then clic the clip, then hit your note/pedal. Turn off the MIDI learning mode, and you're done.
But do read the manual to make things clear for you. It is well written and easily readable.
