Re: Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible
There is no birth of Jesus in the Mark gospel, the oldest one. The birth of Jesus in the later gospels are based on the birth of Octavianus.Jack McOck wrote:So from this, we are to understand that according to myrnova, Gaius Caesar of the Julii was born in a stable, on December 25th, of a virgin. Just so we're clear, this is what you are saying.myrnova wrote:wait, seems this carrota re-discovered the wheel or smth?! It is obvious that the jesus christ cult was introduced in rome as a continuation of the roman cults (julius caesar's one included, because Caesar Cult derived from Mithra's one) as a normal way the romans had to stop riots there and in the province: Roman Empire was a military dictatorship and controlled riots and attempts of revolutions through fear and "hope" (religion) and "panem et circenses" (games, carnival etc. What nowadays the U.S. do with movies and cheesy popstars). All catholicism is just a continuation of the roman empire's religion, till modern times: guess why still nowadays they use latin when writing their fairy tales and prayers and why the Church Corporation is in Rome... It's funny because we italians understand that, while people outside italy think christianism is something "universal" and "supernatural"So called "christianism" is just an italian matter, like mafia. And it's nothing good, of course (just a question of power and money). Besides, guess why the Church is so rich...
Oh, and guess why they dress in those funny roman frocks...
Jesus Christ = Mithra
Julius Caesar = Mithra
Mithra = ancient persian god (1200 BC) adored by roman soldiers, which adored Julius Caesar as a semigod, too. Caesar himself, when still alive, ordered to invent a "cult of caesar", actually. Why? It's typical of dictatorships (see the "flag" cult in the U.S. nowadays, and all the U.S. citizens brainwashed by war propaganda).
History of Mithra: born in a stable, his mother was a virgin, born on 25th december, made miracles like: "bread an fish", "water becomes vine", "dead resurrected", "heals blind" etc. Dead at 33 y.o. (killed by enemies) but resurrected after 3 days because he had a mission: to save the world from pities. Sounds familiar, huh?
And while we're at it, please provide Biblical evidence that Jesus was born on that same date.
btw Jesus was born b.c.

"Jesus"
is as real as the aliens, the devil etc.: the more ignorant you are, the more you believe in these scary fantasies. I guess it has something to do with original fear of death. It is obvious Jesus NEVER existed. Now, seems Carrota invented the wheel. Jesus and such exist because the Church can still count on tons of poor, fearful and ignorant people around the world. In a modern society these superstitions disappear. The ones with a culture who believe in such crap have mental and/or sexual disorders.

Carotta is from Ravenna, you can read his work in your own language, so no excuses there. He seems to be the only one to have pointed out similarities and/or congruenties in THE STORIES of the live of Ceasar and THE STORIES of the live of Jesus.myrnova wrote:"Jesus"is as real as the aliens, the devil etc.: the more ignorant you are, the more you believe in these scary fantasies. Dont confuse the real lifes and the stories about lifes. Two differnt things.
Whether Jesus really existed or not is irrelevant.
The title of his book is misleading, as he himself said.

Re: Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible
That's nice but irrelevant. If Myrnova wants to establish that Julius Caesar is Jesus Christ is Mithra, because they were all born on December 25th, we're going to need exactly 3 birth certificates. And it stands, I have Jesus: unknown; Julius: July 100 BC; Mithra; unknown.rote fahne wrote:There is no birth of Jesus in the Mark gospel, the oldest one. If the case for indentity between the 3 rests on such poor speculation, it'd never make it to court.
Re: Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible
Well, I don't think one needs to read Carotta to "discover" why the cult of jesus christ was invented. Everyone knows Julius Caesar ordered to create his own cult when still alive. Gods and semigods "legends" are all the same: Caesar, Jesus, Zeus, the Pharaoh, etc. They follow the same canvas. Now, Caesar's legend is similar to Jesus Christ's, Mithra's and the other hundreds? WOW... you don't sayrote fahne wrote:Carotta is from Ravenna, you can read his work in your own language, so no excuses there. Crassus was the banker and Lepidus went to California to have a good time. Thats all one has to understand.(for nowmyrnova wrote:Well, I don't think one needs to read Carotta to "discover" why the cult of jesus christ was invented. Where do you live in Italy, you live in Rome?
Re: Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible
Listen, mate. I am italian and have learnt one thing about "Jesus" and all this crap: if "Jesus" is the answer, well... the question is wrong
Re: Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible
Carotta discovered the wheel. The world is full of semigods like Mithra, Caesar, Jesus, Buddha etc.
For instance the ancient egyptian had a god called Horus ("the sun"): he was born on 25th december, his mother was a virgin, he made miracles. He was crucified. Died, after 3 days resurrected. Again: the same as Mithra, the same as Jesus, the same as the others.
Another one? Krishna (India). Same storie, three kings with gifts, too.
Another one? Dionisus (Greece), 900 BC ca.
And so on. Carotta invented the wheel.

If that's ALL you've learnt, then either you haven't been paying attention, or you have the cranial capacity if a turnip. I'm Swiss, btw.myrnova wrote:Listen, mate. I am italian and have learnt one thing about "Jesus" and all this crap: if "Jesus" is the answer, well... the question is wrong

The only sense we can make about Myrnova is that he does not make any sense at all. Its 25 celsius here and i just had a reefer and I first start thinking that Mithra was a new model of the Alfa Romeo brand.Jack McOck wrote:That's nice but irrelevant. But even if Myrnova is a dyke and lives at Torre Bert, then she is still welcome.

If Obama has the luck to get killed, he will be in the same story line as well, murdered a couple of muslims, but took care for health insurance.
Same storie.
Same storie.
