+1. Non-retina macs will be going away in time – lots of people are now using retina macs. Please consider fixing this soon.

i wish ableton would put out a vote / survey just to see what people think of the progression of live and satisfaction.. so many basic things are missing.. i wonder if they even take it seriously.. im thinking of hiring some developers and making a new DAW, anyone interested?

if youve use live since version 3 or 4 you'll have a clear picture over the years of what a modern daw should look like.

+1 to the fullest. Although sound is primarily what needs to be focused on, you should not have to create art with strained eyes and blurred text.

Well duh yourself, because you don't know:

1) The size of screen I'm using, or its pixel resolution (PPI).
2) The distance that I'm viewing it from.

If I'm unable to notice pixelation at a typical viewing distance, then to all intents and purposes I have a "retina display".
