Got Push (finally) - what's with the power supply?
Got Push (finally) - what's with the power supply?
First things first ... this thing is F*$#@*% AMAZING!!
... but what's with the power supply? I guess if you're not in Europe, the UK or the US you:
a) don't 'need' a power supply?
b) don't deserve a power supply?
c) don't exist?
(I don't think it's c cause they managed to find me)
Smart ass comments aside, can I use some other generic power supply? Don't really want to have to use an adapter if I want to go bright lights!

Honestly, they're too bright when I'm working with it in a dim room.
In the daytime, they're nice to have. Still OK without tho.

yeah, been playing with it most of the day and it's not really an issue.
you would think though that if they were going to put in a power supply that it would be usable!

Stew - did you actually get a power supply with your unit? I got mine from Awave in Melbourne and there was no PSU in the box, even though there is meant to be an appropriate supply for whatever country you are in. Awave tell me they're trying to chase it up fom the Australian Ableton distributors CMI... it's been a couple of months now...StewD wrote:yeah, been playing with it most of the day and it's not really an issue.

The PUSH is amazing and works fine without it, but I would like one to reduce battery load if I'm using my laptop unplugged....

hey artpunk,
yes a power supply with the three different adaptors was in the box. not going to be of much use though as the way the adaptors fit I doubt I'd be able to find an Aussie one to fit.
might send Abe support an email re power adaptors and see what they suggest

In your shoes, I would go to my local travel shop and get an aussie --> European plug adaptor
Then take the Push's Euro plug adaptor into that.

Got an email from support the other day ... an Aussie plug is on the way!
