Hye
Does anybody knows if it is possible to use a button on the launchpad to activate/desactivate the vsti gui (instead of pressing with the mouse on the little 'tools' icon ?
or a combination of keys ?
Thanks by advance

u can choose between: hide it when another track is selected

yes, i know that option.
but when, for example, you have reduced (close) the vsti window, you have to click on the little icon "tools" to make it re-appear...
I would like to do it without the mouse...

Hello.
I have 2 small suggestions:
to add a shortcut to show or not the envelope view in clips.
to allow the user to copy and paste the return tracks (to import the return tracks in another project for example). For the moment U can't do this and U don't find that kind of tracks in the project folders...

Maybe for the 9.1 or 9.2 ? Could be great.

hi

i would like to ask You how to make that trick which is shown in Launchpad KillTheRobot's promo video, i mean 0.22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuV7L4bRkuo

he is changing the chords sound by pressing this circle button

how to make chain creator to play different chords on the same buttons? i can't find any tutorial on it :(

One way you could do it is to make another button switch the bank of the launchpad. In the second bank, that same button could send different midi data and hence change the chords you are playing on the same button. However, it seems redundant to do that... since you could simply choose another button to play a different chord. You have enough buttons on the launchpad to go crazy. Perhaps he did it in order to be able to "perform it". Once you memorize a pattern, you would like that pattern to play your entire track. Perhaps he did it so that his performance wouldn't be thrown off by throwing his pinky finger off to another button at that one point in the track. Am I making any sense?

Yes, you're right, but in the case when you don't need more than 64 buttons.

Maybe I'll give another excellent example where you have to change "pattern of buttons" or I don't know how to name it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAXpBgkXt60 - 0.54, 1.19 and so on, he changes the chains of the rack - screen

i "spread" some songs to little pieces, than to perform it alive - and this thing can save my life

i will be very very thankful for telling me this "secret" :)

btw. your videos on yt are great!

It makes sense to change the rack with automation. I know exactly how he made the light show... but I'm not sure that's what you're asking. I don't see a secret. Just samples being launched.

To also launch a LED response, you have to create a new midi track with a midi clip that "plays" the LEDs back to your Launchpad. When you push a button, that button launches the sample you want to hear AND also another clip on another track that is set up to send midi information to your launchpad making the LEDs light up.
