Hello,
I have read that some PUSH Controller suffer from unevenly velocity sensitivities across its pads.
Is that true ?

What about the White Pads, are they now white ?

I really Like to try PUSH, what do I need to check after Ive got it so ensure I have a non broken Hardware ?

Is there something like a test ?

As for the uneven velocity sensitivity I would give it a few weeks, let the pads settle in. I push down on mine gently with the flat of my palms occasionally just to make sure, but my pads seemed perfect out of the box tbh.

If you decide to get one and can go to a store directly, maybe you could ask them to test it before you take it home (maybe choose a quiet day to visit). I'd suggest using one of the GrandPiano Instruments; they seem to show clearly the dynamic range of the pads the best. If the pads are too bad for you to feel happy taking it home ask them to replace it for you. It's shitty that customers should do their own quality control, but there it is.

I took a leap of faith by pre-ordering from a store before release and was fortunate enough to get a decent build. I'd probably have a different perception of it if the pads were fukt, but I love this machine.

Anyways thank you very much for the open words, unfortunately I have no chance to try any PUSH before purchase since I am somehow far away from a Big Town.

What about the White Pads on your Unit ?

The pad hue is relatively even on mine. There is only very very subtle variation.
Having said that I've activated Triant's SeaPush on mine from nativeKontrol's Mod scripts. I like.

I'd suggest using one of the GrandPiano Instruments;

that's fine, but i suggest playing several instruments of varying envelopes

the first day i got my Push was very different from the second. it was kinda weird the first time. i don't know if it was the pads breaking in or just me but it took a bit of time getting used to it

also, i sometimes need to change the threshold and curve settings depending on the instrument

so, i would say an in-store play is def not good enough. take it home for at least a few days, you can always return it
