Push - Crossfader assignment & control
I'd like a way to control the crossfader assignment for each track via Push.
This could possibly be controlled with:
- Select + Encoder 2 (Pan) in Pan view (as you are Select-ing A/Neither/B)
- Shift + Encoder 2 (Pan) in Pan view (as per Shift + Master volume to access Cue level)
I'd also like the ability to control the crossfader position on Push.
Somewhere.. I've read that the Push touch strip could be mapped to this purpose, but I haven't found a way to do this outside of User mode.
This could possibly be controlled with:
- Select + Encoder 9 (Master Volume) in Pan view (Shift + Encoder 9 already controls Cue Volume)
- Select + Touchstrip in Pan view
- Shift + Touchstrip in Pan view
Edit: I'd also like to be able to save the crossfader assignment with the 'Default Audio Track' (Manual: 17.1.1)
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Push - Crossfader assignment & control
anyone managed to map touchstrip to crossfader yet?
Re: Push - Crossfader assignment & control
Is there a way we can use/map the crossfader with a knob (NOT in the user mode) ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Anyone knows an answer already ?

It's possible to do it with M4L, but only with an encoder (+ select or shift of course) as the touchstrip still has a annoying bug with M4L.

Could you provide a link for that patch?Valiumdupeuple wrote:It's possible to do it with M4L, but only with an encoder (+ select or shift of course) as the touchstrip still has a annoying bug with M4L.

Yeah, would be nice if when the Push was in session view, the strip was a crossfader.
oh, and Id like to be able to set a/b on track from there too

Re: Push - Crossfader assignment & control
what would be nice is if there was actually a crossfader on the push 2, using the touch strip as a crossfader doesn't feel like using a crossfader at all.
