drag effect bug

i've noticed that often when i drag an effect (live or third party) from one channel to another in the arranger veiw, live freezes up, yet audio still plays back. a force quit in 9.2 successfully stop the app (for once the force quit actually works in 9.2) with no apparent system side effects. can anyone reproduce this?

live is crashing if i alt-drag/copy an effect from one channel to another.

are you in os 9, does it happen in both the arranger and the session veiw, and does it happen with all fx? anyone else find this bug?

dirty studios--

I've had similar problems in XP where live freezes but audio continues to play. A few times I have been able to avoid having to manually shut down the computer by opening up Reason while Live is still playing and pushing the stop button on Reason's transport controls, thus stopping Live's audio via rewire. It doesn't explain the bug you're encountering, but might save a little time by avoiding a hard reboot.
