What's the opposite term for the opposite way to "block", meaning having still the present WIP track in mind while another - born from the present or totally different - begins to do "pollution" and prevents you from stay focused on what's WIP (and not the next one) ?

Another thing, did you ever EVER considered yourself as "satisfied" with an "end-product", thinking your music (the personal one, what you think is real art and very from and for you) is ... "complete" ?

I've trouble with that feeling I never finished even 13 years old stuff ...

On point indeed ; the "human" without any auto-satisfying serious tone - IMO this man uses a similar reality distortion field as Steve Jobs minus the sales-dude purpose of the convicting speech he does -

...

I love learning and discovering others minds when it's expressed in a "one-shot" way : whether it's by doing a speech, music singing or painting ... Whatever.

I may write in english in a weird or hmmm well weird manner, I fully catch every nuances in spoken no-subs FR english and you gave my loop-functioning mind some food to stay still and think about what I lack the most Inguess, confidence.

I just feel stupid not getting the simple fact I love to listen MY and just as I did only as MY music parts done in 1999-2000, almost each day since, with always the same self-rewarding listening experience.

So if I spotted an "issue" let's classifiy it in the "solved" case.

With kind regards. !

I think a good way to get out of writers block is to change your workflow. For example, I came from the MPC, so when I get WB's on Ableton, I like to go back to square one! Only for a short period of cource :)

A piece of life from some past before being blending tones lol :

I do everything by sequencing. Matter of ressources. I'm on my (still today, WTF, I feel ba if I think about telling how, with and etcaetera I did this "Wonderland" track when EDM was not meaning other than "Every Day Mary-Jane" if I had to see that at the time car future acronym...

Ten, despite the track being electrorchestro dne with used tampax some pieces of adhesive a MD recorder a PS2 a Cubase WTF edition tweaked and a SB Live! Platinu for I/O stuff ... Srry ll :

I just put some Beaste Boys :D !

Always the same na na na naa naaaa --- blablabla blah WOUAH! I SAID !!! Old stuff, countless albums with near twenty tracks each, always the same and enjoyable in fact.

Then Inwasnlucky I listened to the whole album "Since I Left You" by The Avalanches and switched to some DJ Shadow, re-switch to something totally different i.e. Goldfrapp (Felt Mountain Ltd Edition double disc ; the Digipak style one) and some Telepopmusik...

A little Samuel BarberS Adagio for Strings I used to wanna hear Tiesto died for such a puke triggering "maybe trying to be trance" remix which still makes many people flee out of any place filled with full absolute evil taste beins liking this horror...

>>> got it. By cleaning with for the most not linked or spinding like my WIP I remember the day I even named the file with a 2.0 because excepting some mastering no skills I still surprise mates with this thing.

The most important in my humbe opinion is to stay on the way we took : i.e. The Beastie Boys ; in fact every musician you will recognize a track (incl. Those you don't already listened to) when hearing the first two notes when it starts...

Redundancy is I think more an issue for the artist in search for new surprising sounds than for the audience and I may be wrong but beginning with solid "signature" sounds being... Say, the "skeletal", then experimenting whatever ou want aer mastering your former music style is wiser ; I think about Moroder for instance, crap I fuckig move my ass and could fuck on the music Giorgio does now after his unpredictable come-back lol : he did firstly sining then full moogish disco then "died" ... to come back today being WTF 78 years old !

I know what blocking can be torturing oneself's mind since the sound can't get out of the head because of fog or what you call it but if not finding inspiration just play and perform what you could at first fell the same boring shit" until clic! OMG I got a nice one here it's gonna be a nuke... :-)

now that we know some ways to get rid of writer's block, the next question becomes how to develop a case of reader's block??
