set up probs

Hi ,can anyone help me set up my system.I have aa alasis qx61 synth,focusrite 2i2 scarlett,dell inspiron i3 windows 8 touchscreen and a fender mustang 2 amp.I have tried several ways to set it up but wont produce and sound.I am a complete novice so I am prob not doing something right.Ta for any help.
