Ableton needs a 'Strip Silence' function.

...to easily cut up large audiofiles.
Since taking the plunge to Live, this is the only function I really miss from Logic.

It searches for silent parts in an audiofile, and with sensitivity settings it detects more or less regions which are then cut so you are left with audio regions cut out of the whole file.

While I really doubt we'll see this in Live, it's something I would use a lot too. One of the main reasons I still use Studio One for client mixdowns.
