Free courses - intro to production and critical listening

An intro to production course is coming up soon on Coursera:

I did this the last time it ran. AS the title says it is an intro but I found it quite interesting and learned quite a lot of stuff.

A group of universities in the UK have now jumped on the band wagon and set up a platform call Future Learn, I found this course that might be of interest:

I hope its not your business , there is quite good book in this topic, worth to check it:

Audio Production and Critical Listening: Technical Ear Training : http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Production- ... 0240812956 it contains applications too (in numerous topics like: reverbs, dynamics, distortions etc.), the apps can apply effects on your loaded sample using random settings (or not so random ones, depend on their types) and u have to re-set them, for example this is the reverb one:



so its learing method similar those one which has been used in synthorial.com
