I'm digging iOS 7 so far...

Reminds me of the old Ableton site.

Tarekith wrote:Personally I love Auria, it's a really fun DAW to use for me. Feed it anything you want via Audiobus, record and edit it later. The one thing I like about the iPad Audiobus way of working, is that it makes you focus 100% on the app you're actually manipulating. So even though you might be just using a simple app like Bebot, the whole time you're jamming and messing around you can be recording it in the background in Auria.

Other favorites here are Sunrizer, Alchemy mobile, Thor, Animoog, DM1. Really digging iKaossilator and Figure on the iPhone, iPad versions are ok too.
Thanks Tarekith. Don't mind paying for apps I actually want, so will definitely look at Auria and audiobus, though the synths I will probably leave...unless they are free of course or do something spectacular my other synths don't do!!

Put it on my phone, but not the iPad. I'm half considering jailbreking my iPad for XBMC and will wait to see whether 6.1.3 or 7 gets released first. It's a bit lego-y looking, but working pretty good so far. Siri has improved a lot I must say - the dick actually understands what I am saying now at least. They need to give him some emotions though - like Lore without the bad attitude.

FFS. 5 minutes with iOS 7 and I already had to Google 3 things.

How to quit open apps. From the multi task window (or whatever the fuck it is called) swipe up on the app screen shot, not the icon.

How to search for apps. Swipe down from the middle of the screen, not the very top or bottom.

Where’s iTunes Radio? In the music app, not itunes.

FFS. :x

AND probably because I’m using color patterns for my background and not a picture of someplace or someone, but I’m not getting that artificial 3D thing where it looks like the app icons are hovering over the screen when viewed from different angles.

There's a setting for that under Accesibility, make sure it's not off.

i'm not a huge fan of some of the icons, but others look a lot better so it's a trade off. i'm still not a fan of this bright green they're using for the phone and messages icon, but it does look better IMO as a text bubble - flat with the white text in it. :x

the only thing i really don't like about it... is the unlock screen... 'slide to unlock' moves the whole fucking screen over... it looks janky. that could/should have been smooth. :x

i was shocked that the 2nd gen iPad i have was even eligible for the update... i downloaded and installed it but went to bed instead of setting it up. the phone was enough for one night.

FFS. Having the app auto update turned on, on my iPhone and iPad at work brought our wireless router to its knees and we could no longer use our business software.

There’s only 5 people in our office. What kind of ghetto wireless router would choke just on app updates? FFS at our ghetto router.
