I'm in the market for an App Store Illustrator alternative. I basically need to be able to export in EPS or CDR for professional cutting plotters. Pixelmator's vector graphics are more than enough, but it can't export vector formats. Any suggestions?

bummer... none of this worked... I was able to download the files only to receive an error about how "install can't be opened" because the file was installed from the internet. Abobe ffs.
Anstrom's (log into your Adobe account) trick seemed to work, but when i drilled down... i was still only able to get Creative Suite 6.... suck my cloud
thanks for the advice anyway.
back to searching for discs

that does get things moving again. still no luck, but at least it's for a [slightly] less ridiculous reason.
