I just installed LiveControl on our school's computer running Live 9, and while the ipad screen refreshes nicely (dials, sliders and clip grid all update smoothly), I can not get Live to receive any of the controls I give it. In max I can confirm that [udpreceive 5001] is getting all the control inputs from TouchOSC, so I am guessing that there is something corrupt in the remote MIDI script or there is something about Live 9 that is preventing communication. Everything seems to be working on my laptop running Live 8.4.
Or maybe this could be possible issues??
... I have the outgoing port set to 5001 as per the instructions, but I notice that when opening Live Control and looking at the Max Window, it says that it is binding to ports 5002, then 4001 then 5000. No 5001 anywhere in there, is there a way to change the defaults, or double check them?
Thanks for the help (again everything is 32 bit, although now that I think of it, I think max is running in 64 bit mode, does that make any difference?) I might go ahead and install the 32 bit runtime version just to see if that helps, though I don't know how to make the standalone LiveControl app use the runtime version instead of the full, or if it's even possible to select between the two.
LiveControl v1 and Ableton 9 32 bit, controls not working?

bump... am I the only one having issues here?
