To the OP:
Apparently I'm in a minority
So take everything people said in here and base your decision on this!
My point stands: for the really integrated controllers like Push and Maschine learning the hardware = learning a big chunk of the software; while having fun! Which does not mean at all that the other opinions don't have merit.
So: have fun whatever you decide to do!
And keep in mind we really like it here, if you report back on how our help helped you
Getting started, what to buy
Re: Getting started, what to buy
I was leaning towards push but after talking to some people it seems like i'll be spending most of my time on the computer editing so maybe a korg nano setup/launchpad+control would be better.
Re: Getting started, what to buy
That there is a very flexible setup. Sounds fun!!
Re: Getting started, what to buy
Should I pick up the launch pad+launch control or would it better getting the mpk25+kontrol or a combination of the 3?

I don't know the respective prices, but is this then still cheaper then Push?solipsys wrote:Should I pick up the launch pad+launch control or would it better getting the mpk25+kontrol or a combination of the 3?
Because Push is certainly a lot more integrated into Live then these 3. And in higher quality as well!
Re: Getting started, what to buy
It would cost me about $250 for all 3 of them.
