Things I learnt listening to Lorde

Post by Galt » Fri Dec 20, 2013 11:04 am

1. She doesn't brush her teeth.
2. Her boyfriend doesn't brush his teeth.
3. This is apparently something big for her.
4. They both dream about some day having clean teeth.

BUT

5. Their poor dental hygiene is determined by their genetics.

Come on then......post a picture of your teeth. Let's see how amazingly pristine and 100% perfect they are.

BTW I'm astounded that you are able to determine the cleanliness of her teeth purely by listening.

Point one. I have a toothbrush.

Point two. I know how to use it.

Point three. I don't blame my genetics for anything other than my abnormally high IQ.

Point four. I certainly don't prance around singing about how disgusting I am, no matter how damn talented I am.

Point five. :x

I thought you had a vision and were about to tell us what you learned when listening to The Lord....such dissapointment you are... :(

Didn't you just recently bame your genetics for not being a white rhino?!

Yes, this is correct. White rhinos generally have low IQs. See how I am able to say the same thing two different ways? See? Intelligence.

Meanwhile, I agree with you, we should definitely have a thread discussing messages we have received from the Lord. Technically it wouldn't count as religion so long as we keep it personal experience based. See? Loophole, cf. intelligence.

I learned you can already sound bored with your career at 16 and phone in your vocals and still reach the top of the charts.

Saw this and this yesterday and it fits here.
Every song I've heard from her she says "We can be the..." somewhere.

So will the next featured artist on Abletons page be doing a jazzy cover of Royals???

Also learned that every so many years the world loves a song that features the backup vocalists from 1950’s Disney movies

Jem should've been more famous than Lorde :x

Honestly, I’ve been finding a lot of great new darkwave artists and I don’t know why Lorde is getting all the attention. She doesn’t categorically suck. I’ve just heard other similar artists that are better.

Royals is a good pop song. Pop music is fickle, there's no way to know really which song will break.
Her teeth are fine.
