Hello!
Probably nothing new, but I have been experimenting with the Beat Repeat effect for melodies and I think it works quite well. Here is an example (starts at 1:57) that is quite subtle:

It sounds good and it's subtle too, like you said. What kind of effect did you use on the sound at 1:15? That sounds cool too.

Thanks. The harsh bitcrushing-like sound is Omnisphere. A happy accident really that fits nicely with the pads and strings.
