I took advantage of their 50% deal and upgraded to the full version a couple weeks ago. Now I'm slowly making my way through a 4-hour course from Groove3.com so I can make the most of this beast. I can already see the endless possibilities.

I'd love to get an Elektron. Was comparing the Analog 4 and the octatrack. Was wondering which one was better at sequencing.

my girlfriend's brother got one of those. he's a pedalholic/pedal snob and he says that it's his second favorite pedal of all time. i have to admit it is one cool little beast.

I think the octatrack is better at sequencing, some people say the octatrack is like an hardware version of Live but I never tried it.

The sequencers are pretty close, though the OT does a few more things. The people over at Elektronauts can give you the specifics :)

Yeah I think th OT only accepts 16 bit samples if I'm not mistaken, which kinda sucks...

1) Yamaha Motif ES6 at an insanely low price on eBay - which included expanded 1GB memory and ATA hardshell case.

2) Neo-Ventilator rotary simulator with optional footswitch.

No, it loads samples and records at 24bit too. The sample rate must be 44.1 always though.
