edit: Changed the title because we're talking about 2 plugs in here now. Started just talking about Breaktweaker.

If you have a macprovideo.com tutorial subscription they already have a tutorial series on it. Between that and the free 10 day trial people should be able to get a good idea if it would work for them.

I have Stutter Edit and find the interface confusing and there’s more happy accidents then really knowing what I’m doing, and those happy accidents aren’t that frequent. Also trying to use it in Logic is bit of a chore to setup. So I’m kind of leery of BT’s thought process on how something should work. I respect that he's putting this stuff out there though.

Jesus, after logging into izotope’s site I saw that I have purchased 7 of their products over the years. Guess that qualifies me for a $50 discount. It’s still a little pricey though. :?

Edit: Wait no. Looks like it’s on sale for $50 less to anybody. 7 products and no special discount for me? I usually don’t expect that shit, but….7 registered products. :?

Nothing special about this plugin. I can do even more cool stuff with drum racks...

Other DAWs don't have drum racks. Some of us use DAWs other than Live.

I also noticed this:
Built on a futuristic MicroEdit Engine
BT's next vst will feature real ghost living inside the plugin allowing you tap into the paranormal consciousness of synthesis.

So any thoughts on this thing from somebody who isn’t a marketing analyst?

it used to be called Broke Tweaker but that name was already in use by about 7.5 million speed addicts.

7.49 million of them can "quit whenever i want".

...one of them went on to become the head of marketing.

I repeat; just what we need, yet another tool to make our music even more generic sounding. eyeroll

You people are making me so mad right now with your lack chin stroking speculation. :x

This isn’t like Tiesto manufacturing a patented magical crossfader. Some complex thought and planning actually went into this. :x
