Anyone else finding FM8 Difficult?
So lately, i've been trying to learn FM8. Obviously it's not working. I'm very good with Massive and other subtractives. If anyone has any resources for this, i'd be very grateful! Thanks!

Certainly helped me.

http://www.fm8tutorials.com/ Haven't tried their FM8 stuff, but if their Reaktor tutorials are anything to go by, then it should be good...

Frequency Modulation in itself seems to be the most difficult form of synthesis to grasp anyway. I'm not surprised that you found Massive to be easier to get a handle on.

Re: Anyone else finding FM8 Difficult?
I started out with the manual, which was quite useful because it isn't immediately obvious how to turn each oscillator on.... and that's quite important hah

Have you checked out Simon Cann's How to make a noise FM guide? http://noisesculpture.com/how-to-make-a ... -synthesis
