I can also do some very interesting scapes with Z3ta2

Zebra2 - its multi-stage envelopes are excellent for slowly evolving atmospheric pads...

Stacking Samplers in an Instrument Rack works well for that. Then you can do all kinds of stuff separately for each sample.
