Hot swapping batch samples in Sampler: is it possible?

Post by apcut » Thu Mar 27, 2014 2:15 pm

Hello,

i've made some pretty detailed samples of an old synthesizer i had for a while.
I sampled lots of patches i made, with every chop exactly the same length and named every chop according it's note name and number.
Over several octaves i ended up with 1000's of chops.

Now i made a nice sampler instrument with one sampled patch, key range set according to the sample root key and so on.
So in the Zone view i get like 12 chops per instrument.

So here is my question: does anybody know if it's possible to hot-swap all chops of one "patch" or Sampler instrument at once, but keep settings like key range?

If you select all samples you see in the Zone list, and try hot-swapping them they just get replace with one sample and Live discards the key range.

The fastest way i found doing this is clicking the hot swap button inside Sampler next to the sample name and selecting the first slice of the new patch.
But this way i still need to repeat this action for every chop in the same "patch" or Sampler instrument.

Hopefully anybody got a faster method otherwise i'll be clicking for 3 days...?
