Video: Bitwig and Ableton 9 comparison
Re: Video: Bitwig and Ableton 9 comparison
I've heard a few different accents from north and south say it like this, and always found it charming. I feel like, with flakey made-up words, it's okay to take the path of least resistance. Especially if you're gonna say 100 times over a half hour video.

I feel some sympathy for the OP here. He's put some trouble into an overview of two DAWs and the main response has been about diction.

Please, the guy's trying to start a DAW war.
Re: Video: Bitwig and Ableton 9 comparison
Fun fact: I speak almost exactly the same as the OP. We are from the same part of the world. Actually my accent is worse, it's a mixture of Old version Salford Mancunian and Scouser talk. It's "Able-ton", arkid, kidder lar.The Finn wrote:Erm, not everyone speaks English the way they do in Texas. The guy's got a (very slight) regional UK accent. Get used to it
Anyway, all attention is good attention in these hypermediated times. It's when you are ignored you have to worry.
BTW: I lied about the fun part.
Re: Video: Bitwig and Ableton 9 comparison
I had some sympathy as well, till I realized the OP's marked the video as private. The Finn wrote:I feel some sympathy for the OP here. He's put some trouble into an overview of two DAWs and the main response has been about diction.
Long live Texas!

Re: Video: Bitwig and Ableton 9 comparison
so... the forum has been reduced to 2 page discussions on how to pronounce the name now and even that ends up in deleted posts.
