Waldorf Edition won't permanently activate on Mac/Live 9.1.1
Hi folk,
Has anyone ran into an issue activating Waldorf Edition on Mac Mavericks with Live 9.1.1? I can't seem to have my activations persist; each time I restart Live and try to load one of the Waldorf plugins, Live asks me to activate them again. Does anyone have any idea why this might be the case? Any help would be wonderful, thanks!

I've tried repairing disk permisions, but sadly it makes no difference. Though I did notice that this comes up in the console:
01/02/2014 17:27:25.652 Ableton Index[5547]: BUG in libdispatch client: kevent[EVFILT_WRITE] delete: "No such file or directory" - 0x2
So it seems it doesn't have the permission it needs to write the activation key, or something to that effect?

No one's tried installing Waldorf Edition 1.7.3 on OSX Mavericks?
EDIT: Okay, sorted it by manually inputting my license info into the plist file, with the help of a friend. Phew.

Care to elaborate? I am also finding I have to enter my registration number every time I want to use Attack -- and not just in Live. It appears to be a Mavericks issue, so Waldorf Edition is flummoxed everywhere.csl wrote:EDIT: Okay, sorted it by manually inputting my license info into the plist file, with the help of a friend. Of course, when I try opening the .plist in Xcode, I get a "The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format." error, so it doesn't seem I'm able to edit the preferences file at the moment. Be curious to find out how you managed to get it working!

I am having this problem as well ... and on top of that, Ableton is not recognizing the VST versions of these plug-ins at all. Anyone else finding this problem?

I was in contact with Waldorf about this, in early 2012 (and i was on OSX lion)

For this very reason , i'm not using it anymore…
I've tried in several host = Garage Band, Cubase LE…same results...

I had this problem recently. Its an apple bug related to plists. If you contact waldorf with your registered email and serial they can generate a PLIST file which once copied resolves this issue. Working for me in 10.9.2..
Theres also a 64 bit version available if you request it - not listed on the website some reason.
cheers
