Big WTF with some of these deals. 8O
• Studio One Artist 2, the entry-level version of our powerhouse DAW—usually $99.95—for $5! (Seriously, who authorized this?!)

• Progression 2: The most intuitive and revolutionary tab, notation, songwriting, and composition software for guitar, bass, and drums, usually priced $49.99.

• Goldbaby Essentials Studio One Add-On: Hypersaturated vintage drum machine samples recorded to tape: $5, usually $29.99

• Ampire XT Metal Pack Studio One Add-On: Six new amp models, six new cabinets models, and a metal drum kit. Heavy heavy! $5, usually $29.99

•MP3 Converter for Studio One Artist: Add the much-requested MP3 export functionality to Studio One Artist. $5, usually $9.99

i think the artist's version is the one they give out for free with their audio interfaces. are there any novel features in it that might be worth $5?

It's a great program, but you'll be limited to not using vsts. The upgrade to producer is 99 bucks which is more full functioned.

However, you can find it for that price anytime at the KVR marketplace. I've seen the full version go for as little as 120 bucks.

That's why you buy it now, then wait for the upgrade sale. Then you get producer for 55, which it never hits in the marketplace

Yep, that deal actually beats the educational discount for Pro by about $50, so it's a real steal combined with the Cinco deal.
