I saw what you did there but I didn’t have anything witty to fire back with. So instead I leveraged the fact that I live close to Apple HQ and we are all allotted 5 minutes a year for some mono y mono Tim time. FACT!

Every time I put the curser in the search box in iTunes and type I get a warning noise that I’m not typing in any field. Every fucking time. FUCK.

Not at all, there's always been tools for mastering your own music, hasn't affected me one bit. Heck, most people know me for a guide I wrote telling them how to master their own music!

I don’t know if either of my MBAs have an expansion card slot (never looked into it) but this sounds like a hell of a lot cheaper option than replacing the internal drive.
