Addressing an audio group track's instruments

Post by jayemell » Mon Jun 02, 2014 7:53 pm

I have the following:

1. an audio group track, which contains
2. 1 m4l device, and
3. 1 audio effect rack
4. the audio group track has three chains, each of which are playing their own midi clip.
5. the midi clips are played by instruments that are located inside of instrument racks.

I would like to address the volume in one or more of the instrument racks, which are located inside of the audio group.
Is this possible?

Thanks very much,
jml

Worth mentioning:

I just saw this: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=152336&p=1223414&h ... M#p1223414

...which indicates that maybe there is no such thing as "children" of an audio group track.

I've actually noticed similar issues involving the push with this (faulty, imho) design.

I'll attempt a workaround, but honestly it makes the whole M4L thing way less modular to have this limitation in Live...
