Re: Business email idiots
People who refuse to use email at all ever because they know it serves as digital proof of when they did or didn’t request something. Much easier for them to use the phone and when something didn’t get done they can go “I don’t recall who I spoke to, but I did call.” or “I told [pulls employee name out of their ass] about this.”

People who substitute FYSA for FYI as lead-in for a forwarded email - there is no value added and it's a waste of a consonant.
More importantly - People who BCC. Ever. IMO it's almost always done in an underhanded way, as in BCC'ing someone way above in the hierarchy for self-serving reasons, and typically only exposed when said BCC recepient replies to all.

People outside your company who demand you email different groups of people for different scenarios “If this is an invoice then email these 4 people, and if it’s about a shortage email these 4 different people, and I need a scanned copy of anything we sign ever emailed to these 5 different people, and…….”
(I work for a small enough company where I’m the entire “department” for each scenario )

What about the guy who starts the email in the subject line and then continues it in the body of the email?
I had a boss who did that.

In theory I don't think I'd have a problem with that and maybe almost prefer it, because I'd find the email easier to remember from the subject.
It's like saying a persons name when you meet them to make it easier to remember.

My company makes us do a little shpeel when we answer the general phone number and this happens.
Me: Thanks for calling the company I work for. This is beats me. How can I help you?
Caller: Hey shadx, so I have that answer for you.
