Who is your fav up and coming synth maker/company?

Post by Jekblad » Wed Jun 11, 2014 4:26 am

In the guitar world there's always these guys building amazing instruments out of their garage and selling them on Ebay... Just wondering if there's some cool synth guys that are making stuff that is fun, usable and not very well known.

Please share if something comes to mind!

is madrona labs up and coming? "up and coming" seems a bit subjective. if ml is up and coming, they're my soft pick. my hardware picks would be an array of eurorack manufacturers like intellijel and makenoise. i'm often a fan of what elby designs is redoing but i'm pretty sure ed is more small and established than up and coming. i'd actually say the same about the aforementioned tal.

XILS-Lab put out there really great synths: Syn'X, XILS4, and the Poly KB II.

They fly under the radar for most people here probably because of the iLock copy protection.
