Anyone interested in learning to play the keyboard?

Post by akm » Thu Jun 19, 2014 11:58 am

Hi guys! If there are people interested in learning music and playing the keyboard (which is quite same things though) let me know. I'm a professional high level pianist and electronic music enthusiast, also I love all the "Information Technologies" and have some equipment. I could post some videos with training suggestions and useful tips for you. Just show me your interest and if there are at least a couple of people who are interested and who start communicating with me that wold be more then enough to begin. Maybe posting this in Ableton forum is not the best idea but I know and feel this community better then ANY other community because I'm a part of it by myself. Let me know guys.

Ok, I'm in trouble, mean I need to do something now! I suggest, lets wait for at least one more person who is interested, and I suggest I make a Livestream on Youtube (or Google Hangouts? Did not test it yet though it maybe even better) where we could communicate and decide a starting point. You should tell me the time which is comfortable for you.

I live in South Africa. GMT +2. I mostly have time for music in the evenings, but I am in the middle of a house move, so it is tricky. A the moment a live stream or google hangout would be difficult. But any videos & resources you are willing to share would be very interested!

Ok I see, but there are tons of education videos right now uploaded by people and waiting for you. So to differentiate I see the point in direct communication, I need to know who are you and what you know already and how quick you react and so on and to see what you or others may be looking more and what I can suggest.

GMT+4, Russia. Look, I need your help also, I'm thinking about this video kind of lessons for some time already but I cant just sit in front of a webcam smiling and saying 'dear children, I'm going to teach you how to play the piano' - I just can't, that why I need a real people for that, at least to start doing that, otherwise I'll never begin.

I think posting this in the ableton forum is the best idea :)
I learned a bit playing years ago but some useful tips are always welcome!

Great, guys, I'm sure absolutely serious about it all. Right now it's quite late where I live, but tomorrow I'll decide something about it all, and we'll begin. Thank you for your interest.

I am in the middle of a house move. Packing up all my music instruments today. It will probably be mid- July before everything is set up again. So I will try to make contact then.

Thanks!

Just made something, sorry for some delay with it, hope to make it quite often, feedback is much appreciated, hope it is not too boring, though I did not plan to make an entertainment from it: http://youtu.be/7iPqdWhrODs
