Summing with peak number values

Post by handsofire » Fri Jul 04, 2014 7:46 pm

I'm wondering if Live 9 has the ability to display track meter peak numbers. This is very important if I plan to use Live for final mixing. I'm currently having to bounce everything down to bring into another DAW which features this detailed information, and this limits my group/bus routing abilities when I'm using sidechain compression and other FX before the final mix in Live.

Is there a way to get more precise values next to the meters (am I missing something), or do I need to use a leveling plugin and load each track to see what's happening?

Clicking above the meter and dragging upwards to make it larger will reveal numerical level values.

Hope that answers your question!

See Ableton Forum • View topic - Need to Activate the db values in the Live mixer - They've been there for as long as I'm using live, so you may be missing something
