Portable mini keyboard with encoders?

Post by IP » Thu Jul 10, 2014 9:30 am

Hi guys!
I desperately need to go as portable as possible so i need a mini midi keyboard controller but with encoders, not pots!

is there anything on the market that works nicely with live 9?
the setup will be the simplest, just a MBP and the little controller.

Arturia's minilab seems to be the best option but there are so many bad reviews around :/

any suggestions?

thanks

If you need encoders, I think MiniLab is the only game in town. I've read the bad reviews too, no idea how common the quality issues really are...people with no issues don't tend to post about it!

On the plus side, the included AnalogLab software is very cool if you can use 5000 presets of vintage analog synth sounds.

damn, if akai mpk mini mk2 had encoders (it would sell 1000x no matter the price)...
whywhywhywhy.

about minilab, the arturia's forum and kvr are full of complains :( its a risk

Something like this maybe? If the configured controller mapping is to restrictive you might make it work with manual mapping.
