How do you rename a project?
As the title says, I am looking to rename a project but I can't figure out how.
Re: How do you rename a project?
I've always just renamed the project folder and .als files in OS X Finder. Would probably be a good idea to not have that project open at the time.

Strangely I can't find the project file I want to change in "Finder." Any other ideas?

You can do that in Live's browser, when you've got [see below].TYLRbass wrote:I've always just renamed the project folder and .als files in OS X Finder.
The PROJECT FOLDER doesn't mind, that the SET FILE is open (mind Live's nomenclature). An open SET would mind, though, if you don't want to close, you can always save as...Would probably be a good idea to not have that project open at the time.

It's definitely a good idea to have one dedicated folder/folder hierarchy (on an extra/external drive's good, too) and store a new set there. That will create a project with the same name. Add this dedicated folder/root of your hierarchy to the Places section of the browser, and it's all there.Fazi Snaxx wrote:Strangely I can't find the project file I want to change in "Finder."
