It's absolutely nothing more than creating an ableton patch-per-preset and no where ideal but a solution where there currently isn't one. No real skill involved in coding or integration, just some basic automated click scripts really.

As said, the PXT Live stuff from Stray is a great example of how good proper knowledge can be of benefit. IMHO if you were to present the Ableton Push interface solution and the Stray solution to a group and ask which would you prefer to use if you only could use one, Stray would win 100:1.
Didn't know about PXT but looks cool.

Although, what AudioModder is doing is totally different. Yes, it's mostly just Presets but there's also very nice Maschine integration with Live. The point being is that managing presets within the Ableton Ecosystem is much better than in the GUI of whatever plugin. Ableton has really nailed that process with the "Q" shortcut and then with Push it's even better.

If they made it so that Third Party Developers could at the very minimum quickly put their presets in Ableton format we're halfway there. There's more to do in that department but this seems like the easiest way. I mean if all it took AudioModder was some basic scripts then imagine what some actual work would do in this department.

Yeah, I mean there are so many ways to implement this. It's one of those low hanging fruit issues that Ableton could benefit users tremendously.
