Finding a Laptop / Push Stand For Using On Stage
Finding a Laptop / Push Stand For Using On Stage
Hi all,
I recently bought a Push, and I'd like to use it while my band performs live! I'll be sitting down and playing a Roland RD-700GX keyboard, and I would like to have a stand next to me which holds my laptop and the Ableton Push.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with different on-stage stands? Which one would work best for what I need? I wasn't able to find a stand which would hold both the computer and the Push, which I think is what I would need?

Om-Stage is great, but a little overkill for Push. (I do use one for Maschine Studio)
I use a Laptop stand

together with the Clover cookbook stand which works very nicely for Push (and Maschine Mk2)

Thanks for your reply! So where do you put the laptop that the Push plugs into? A different laptop stand?

Yes, or a table (or chair). But it really depends on your gig....

The Gilbrator Electronic Drum Mount is really great for full height stage use:
The Brada laptop stand from Ikea is very inexpensive and works great for a table top mounted solution for the Push:

I use an extended height drum snare stand gibraltar 7706ex and play push standing up. I angle the push towards the audience so they can see me play and for better playing ergonomics while standing, this stand allows for any playing angle. The laptop is on a separate stand or on top of a rack depending on space. I also do this with Maschine, works well for both.
